I’m finally getting around to the second day’s photos from our Independence Day trip to Washington DC. Places visited on this trip included the United States Botanic Garden, the Lincoln Memorial, the Washington Memorial, the World War II Memorial, and the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. We got to taste some very tasty Mexican food during the folk festival, and I took a ton of photos of the Metro. The fireworks were huge as usual, but they never photograph very well… and this year our view was partially blocked by the smoke.
I have another day’s worth of photos that I’ll be sorting through very soon.
